Final 7th Grade Honors Assembly
There will be an Honors Assembly for 7th grade on Friday, May 22nd at 2:00pm in the Inman Auditorium. Awards will be given for Honor Roll, Principal's List and Perfect Attendance. Please come and cheer on our 7th graders for their academic achievements!
Please return all textbooks and Library books
Remember to have your student return all textbooks to their teachers and library books to the Media Center on or before May 22nd. Outstanding books will result in having your child’s report card held until the books are returned or paid for.
Summer Reading!!
It is important for students to continue their independent reading over the summer. Try getting involved in choosing their next novel. For example, if your student is leaning towards choosing a book from the Goosebumps series... try steering them towards a classic like “Flowers For Algernon” by Dani Keyes instead. Perhaps you can read it together or listen to an audio book during o long car drive. The following is a list of recommended books that should both excite and challenge students:

8th Grade School Supplies:
Back-to-School packs with all school supplies will be available for purchase from the Inman School Store at Meet & Greet on Friday, August 7th from 1:30-3:30pm. However, if you are interested in buying your items separately, below is the supply list for 8th grade:
3-ring binder (3-4” needs to hold all subjects)
Dividers for 3 ring binder
Pens (blue or black ink)
Mechanical pencils and extra lead (or #2 pencils)
1 composition book
Spiral notebook (70+ pages, with holes to fit in binder)
Loose-leaf paper
Colored pencils
Highlighters
Graph paper (math and science)
USB Jump Drive (at least 2GB)

2 Journal notebooks (marble notebook)

Remember to save your magazine subscriptions for Inman's annual Magazine Sale which begins in August. Your family will have the opportunity to support Inman Middle School PTA by purchasing one of over 750 magazines available through the American Publishers Hearst reading program. You can buy a new magazine subscription or renew an existing one, or even make a direct donation to the PTA if you prefer.
